I had a really great day today.
From the moment I woke up I went from one thing to another with very little in between laziness-doing-nothing time.
The best part of the day was seeing a really good friend of mine who I only get to see once every several months. She is an amazing person. I am able to talk about things with her that I can only do so with very few other people if anyone else at all. We know and understand a lot about each other and although we don't always share the same opinion or agree, we completely respect it and allow ourselves to understand the other side and sometimes even then agree with it and choose to change or expand. I am really gratefully to have her as a friend, I truly value our friendship and it makes me happy that we share it. I hope that our friendship can expand, that we can learn even more about each other and do new things together if time allows it. I'm also happy for her; for everything that she has in her life and that she has a really great intimate relationship with someone who seems to be perfect for her. I look forward to the next time I can see her.
This night while further looking at the moon and this time through the window I saw it slightly refracted through the window in a way that caused several images of the moon to appear around the real moon in an elliptical-shaped fashion. The effect was somewhat prismatic but the images looked more like the different colors of the moon in its different phases, appearing to be slight blue, red, yellow, orange, and also different grays-whites-silvers (none that were green, violet, or indigo; just as the moon is never really seen in those colors).
It was very beautiful, definitely worth mentioning especially since my friend and myself were looking at the moon while talking and commented on it several times thus making me want to share what I recently saw.
