In the aftermath of the discovery of terrorist attacks being plotted once again on U.S. soil, you'd assume that the Senate would want to allow an amendment cutting off funding from "sanctuary cities", areas whose law enforcement are clearly allowing the laws of this country to be broken. On October 7, Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) introduced an amendment to cut off funding from cities who deem themselves "sanctuary cities". The bill was tabled (killed) by a vote of 61-38. Here's the record:

YES (to table the bill - keep federal funding to sanctuary cities):
Akaka (D-HI), Baucus (D-MT), Bayh (D-IN), Begich (D-AK), Bennet, M. (D-CO), Bingaman (D-NM), Boxer (D-CA), Brown (D-OH), Burris (D-IL), Cantwell (D-WA), Cardin (D-MD), Carper (D-DE), Casey (D-PA), Conrad (D-ND), Dodd (D-CT), Dorgan (D-ND), Durbin (D-IL), Feingold (D-WI), Feinstein (D-CA), Franken (D-MN), Gillibrand (D-NY), Hagan (D-NC), Harkin (D-IA), Inouye (D-HI), Johnson (D-SD), Kaufman (D-DE), Kerry (D-MA), Kirk (D-MA), Klobuchar (D-MN), Kohl (D-WI), Lautenberg (D-NJ), Leahy (D-VT), Levin (D-MI), Lieberman (I-CT), Lincoln (D-AR), McCaskill (D-MO), Menendez (D-NJ), Merkley (D-OR), Mikulski (D-MD), Murkowski (R-AK), Murray (D-WA), Nelson, Ben (D-NE), Nelson, Bill (D-FL), Pryor (D-AR), Reed (D-RI), Reid (D-NV), Rockefeller (D-WV), Sanders (I-VT), Schumer (D-NY), Shaheen (D-NH), Snowe (R-ME), Specter (D-PA), Stabenow (D-MI), Tester (D-MT), Udall, M. If your Senator's name is on the list, give them a call. Remind them that "sanctuary cities" are violating federal immigration laws and need to be stopped right now!
