First Ladies Michelle Obama and Jill Biden were on hand at the last race of the 2011 Sprint NASCAR season to promote an initiative for businesses to hire more military veterans.
Unfortunately, they didn't receive as warm a welcome as they expected.

Retired Army Sgt. Andrew Barry and his family received cheers from the crowd during his introduction.
It would be one thing if FL's Obama and Biden were there on their own, but they were there to push a worthy cause and at a time like this when we have tens of thousands of soldiers who will be returning to the U.S. under a stressed economy and few job prospects, a little respect for our soldiers by proxy would go a long way. In my eyes, the NASCAR crowd booing Biden and Obama while they were there to support Joining Forces is just as classless as members of Code Pink protesting our military outside of Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
