This week's been interesting for GOP Presidential candidate Herman Cain. A story came out that Cain, during his time as the head of the National Restaurant Association, sexually harassed two women who later received cash settlements in exchange for their silence on the matter. A third woman recently came forward stating she was also harassed by Cain. Now Cain's campaign and others are calling for the victims to come forward, and that's just disturbing. If it's on record that two women (and maybe even the third woman involved) did receive a settlement, leave it at that. Granted, the NRA should confront them over possible breach of contract, but that's within their right. Asking these women to make themselves public will only subject them to unnecessary scrutiny. If there's a record of the offense, leave it at that. In all honesty, it won't change my opinion one or another considering that we had a President who had sex on the job and all he got was a slap on the wrist.
