JBJ Soul Kitchen Opens In Red Bank, NJ

Oct 20, 2011 17:07

Yesterday, Jon Bon Jovi opened a Soul Kitchen restaurant in Red Bank, NJ. Soul Kitchen has an interesting concept -- there are no prices on the menu. You take what you want and pay the minimum amount for what you take. If you have nothing, then you volunteer for an hour at the restaurant to earn your meal. They ask that you make reservations, and you're seated with people you may not know as a way of building relationships. The chefs try to make the meals as organic as possible, with some foods grown or raised by Soul Kitchen and the JBJ Soul Foundation. It's not a restaurant concept that would work for regular small businesses but for celebrity joints, it seems like a good fit.

You can learn more by visiting the JBJ Soul Kitchen website.
