So angel adn I are finally back home and are totally excited to be here. He and I went grocery shopping and found our most economical and delicious grocery store that is farmer jack. However we are totally not interested in ever going to the hazel park farmer jack again so we are going to map quest a different one. Angel said to me "wow I haven't seen so many tweety bird shirts in my life!" I love my husband he's so funny. Our phone jack has been fixed and I can't tell you how happy I am about that. And the best thing is that it took the guy 3 hours to fix the problem and his lovely self gave us his services on the house. His name is Byron Gordy from sbc and he's the employee of the week as far as I'm concerned. So anyone needing a tech from sbc use him he totally rocked and I told him this and he blushed. He's a good guy.
Being home I'm realising that I need to par down on my books. I have countless lesbian texts, videos, and some other books that are self help and math. I will leave a list so that all of you can call first dibs before I donate them to the library of detroit and affirmations. Also I will list cds that I coudl do without before I try to sell them to record times. Today I fell I got a bit accomplished although I look out into the apartment and feel stressed knowing I have so much more to do, oye. I managed to listen to two audio books from simplyaudio.com about bragging effectively and how to give dynamic public speeches. I did the laundry and reorganized angel's closet and our cabinets. I figured out a safe space for penelope the guniea, which also was a new functioning office space for the both of us. I feel so cluttered because of the size of the space and the amount of things we've accumulated. I need to finish painting that is the first and foremost thing that angel and I need to finish this weekend. I hope the guinea will like her new home she seems to really love the orange and blue walls she was really checking them out the first night back. We still haven't found a name that really captures the essense of the guinea pig. She's a diva and fabulous and loves to do her own thing and is super prissy. We tried to feed her fresh fruit and veggies, we had a whole tray so we could see what type of treats to get her and she wanted nothign to do with any of it. She loves her guinea pig food and the grass and straw mix we bought her she really tears that up. maybe as she gets used to the space and us she will be more open to eating natural fresh foods.
I vaccumed the house, cleaned all the floors, dusted, and organized paper. I can't help but think that the brilliant blue solid wall is just very intense. I know that I need to do something about the linens on the bed but I think I will have to save up for that. They are all mixed matched and drive me nuts, we bought them not knowing the colors and thinking of the scheme for the apartment we decided against. kurtis did a tarot card reading and said we were only going to be in this apartment for 2 year so we'll see if it's worth while. I think for the sake of things looking nice and prganized that it will need uniformed linens. Saturday I need to work my tail off on that paint and then I can finish off the set up and design and get to the fun stuff, finishing the upholstering and pillows, all the goodies. I can't wait to take photos and show all of you that are too far to come and have those of you that are close over to enjoy the space.
It feels so good to be at peace with all the fabulous things aroudn me and I feel so blessed to have angel be as excited and to have furnished so many of these things and support me in the decorating it's very very important to me. I start school on the 29th and I'm happy to be able to have a quiet space for angel and I both to relax and study in peace. ::toasts a stiff drink to angel:: here's to a fantastic renewed life, lets all drink to that!
