Where does the time go?
You know, it seems like just yesterday I was starting college and now, I'm almost done with my junior year. Yet, at the same time it seems like so long ago. I was working on my scrapbook today and looking at pictures from last year and it seemed like forever ago.
Time is such a tricky thing. We are so bound to it in our everyday lives. There isn't enough time to finish work, there isn't enough time to do anything fun, there isn't enough hours in the day. How many times have I muttered one of these statements? More than I can count! I can't help but wonder in all of this what it will be like when we aren't bound by time anymore. I wonder what it will be like when we have eternity to spend with God. For the rest of eternity we will worship our Lord and never have to be bound by time again! Wow...its so hard to comprehend!
God's timing is so much different than ours. We want to know things immediatley so that it can fit our schedules and so we can feel secure. There have been many times in my life when God has taught me about His timing, yet, I never seem to get it. Here I am again learning how to trust in God's timing.
