I wish I were still in the mountains...
The mountains are beautiful! The sweet mountain air and cool weather was amazing! And being isolated from the hustle and bustle of the "city life" was a blessing. God's glory was shown all around in West Jefferson, North Carolina and it was awesome to experience Him in His creation. Here is a little something I wrote reflecting my feelings for my God.
How great are the mountains you have created
How vast and majestic they are!
How sweet the mountain air you have provided, I soak it all in.
Your creation echoes through the woods and all the world has slipped away.
It is here that I sit in the glory of a new day, a new day You have provided.
Your creation reflects your majesty, your wonder, your holiness.
How great is my God!
How beautiful your creation!
How humble am I!
How great are the mountains you have created
