the weekend
So this weekend was a lot more successful then I thought. I was unhapp about the hurricane threat, becuase I felt like it totally ruined the weekend. I enjoyed myself yesterday though. I watched an old movie called "Guys and Dolls" with Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando with my Mommy and sista. While my adorable grandpa listened to his head set radio for hurricane updates. The whole family slept downstairs, just in case Jeanne decided to do another circle and attack our house. : ) My sister and I dragged her mattress all the way downstairs and slept there after watching Miss Congeniality. I am glad that I was able to go home, even if it was just a little while. I missed my momma and sis.
Today (thankfully the Dolphin mall was open) Matt and I finally exchanged our anniversary gifts. I got him a gorgeous skimboard, a bag to put it in, and grip. He absolutely loved it. He's going to the beach tomorrow with Steffen at like 7 in the morning so they can skim. He took me on a $150 spree to Forever XX1, one of my favorite stores, to eat the other night at Emeril's in South Beach (<<
