well then zen has different colors so thats cool and a removable battery. but u told me apple fxed the batt problem. so just buy an ipod and then buy skins for it if you wanna personalize it.

true. i think i am leaning more towards the ipod. its just that i dont really NEED 20 gigs, i dont think im ever going to need that much... except for maybe like 10 years from now, when the ipod is like the ugliest crap ever.

people say, "well what are you going to do with 20GB? its not like youre going to listen to that many songs in one day." but my father brought up a good point... do i really want the annoyance of having to switch songs all the time? thats why i say about 10GB is ideal. =/

i have 15gigs and ive used like 3 so yeah.
i dont think switching songs is really a big deal.
if i could go back i prolly would bought an ipod mini cause half the shit that IS on my ipod i dont even listen too anyways. i skip past alot of stuff most of the time.

i dunno its your choice.

buy mine!! XP

zen micro competes with the ipod mini not the ipod. they have a zen regular but it's just like the ipod... once the batteries die for good the thing stops working and you have to send in your mp3 player and pay like 100 bucks for them to give you a new battery. i'd just deal with the zen micro if i were you. it uses cell phone batteries so you could buy a battery that lasts 72 hours if you wanted.

youre saying once the batteries die you have to replace it for $100 for which? the ipod or regular zen?

and yeah i know that the zen micro really compares with the ipod mini...but thats not really an issue because i dont like the ipod mini. my real question is whether or not its worth $50 to get additional storage that im not sure i really need.

besides, the other creative mp3 players that have more storage than the zen micro are ugly. :P i hope creative comes out with a pretty 10GB mp3 player before i buy one, or something lolz. xD

IPOD has to be sent back in for battery replacement because eventually it STOPS charging and just DIES. You can ask Jason. He know's what I'm talking about. That's what makes Ipods so inconvenient. Apple fucks you over. The Zen micro uses the same kinds of batteries as cell phones so they're easily replaceable and can last up to 6 times longer than Ipod batteries in a single charge. The way i see it, apple has done an excellet job using industrial psychologists to get people to think that they need 15 and 20 gigabytes. Of course, in an entire year a person will most likely not listen to all 15 gigabytes of their music. People listen to what they like the most. But what if there's a song that they wanna hear one day and it's not on their mp3 player!!!???? Well.... *gasp* they can go home, put the song onto their mp3 player and call it a day. No one's gonna drop dead if they have 5GB of music but don't have that one 3MB song. What they will do is realize that life goes on, and they'll go home and put the song that they want onto the mp3 ( ... )

electicution, well thats a nice way of putting it. =) its true that no one really needs 20GB but then theres andre's "more for your $" argument. i have a little over 1,000 songs, but i figure when i finally get cable internet it will be much more, hence 10GB. oh well, :p i still have a month to decide.

but thanks for the battery info, taking a few points away from the ipod's lead.... making them practically even again... making it harder to decide... .... ........... >=O

id love to meet your bf, i have no set plans for the next few weekends, so call me. you can actually help me decide which mp3 to get, ill have to post up pictures though. ill make a more extensive post on that later.
