blanket a room. Hang them over windows, doors, on the floor, make a tent/fort. This can seriously make a difference in survival.

When we lived in Oregon, I pulled the goat into the house for that very reason. She was another body in a small area to generate heat.

Well, cows are generally bigger than goats, so all else being equal you'd expect that to be true. Plus, cows are gassier. Mmm... warm methane.

Personally, I prefer cutting open a tauntaun and cramming myself inside. But maybe that's just me.
