All posts spoiling episodes prior to season three will not be cut.  For season three, I will wait three weeks before displaying any big info from an episode.  So by episode four I won't be cutting for episode one.  Sound good?

Hi :) I just thought I'd post here and say hi and sorry I wasn't around when you IMed me.

I really love your Derek.

I just thought I'd say that I consider anything written in the prompts to sort of be from seperate universes, so don't feel I'm trying to dictate who your Derek is or anything. I just think that if everyone had to agree on canon it would make it really hard to just flow with things.

I don't ship Addie and Derek, although I believe that when they were young and foolish they thought they were in love. I don't ship Addie and Mark either. I'm still kind of processing the whole bet thing, but I've decided she's sure neither of them can do it, and only agreed because she's curious to see how long Mark could go.

Since Addison tends to bottle her emotions, for the most part, I don't think she's really grieved for what happened with Derek, and it's really weighing on her. I think being in Seattle with everyone's drama's going on around her, she doesn't have time for her own, so she's not dealing. Basically she needs a holiday, needs to go somewhere where she can find herself above the whirlwind of social politics at Seattle grace.

Hey and, that's alright, I'm just so absent-minded I didn't notice you were idle. :-P

In turn, your Addison seems to be spot-on. (It seems that, like with doctors, all RP'ers must first commend fellow writers on how brilliantly they write their characters. Interesting.)

Anyway, my Derek is a pretty spontaneous guy. Sometimes he's pro-Meredith, sometimes pro-Addison, and sometimes, when he or I take a wild fancy, he's pro-Mark. Usually though, I write him as canon conducts his character: a, simply put, douchebag in love with Meredith Grey. Now and then my own likings take the reigns, and I insert my own irony into his prompts about Mer, but typically, I let the character rule.

As for Addison's leaving, I agree whole-heartedly. I'm not really pulling for her to be with a particular character, I simply believe Derek really messed up in choosing Meredith--not that he and Addison could have ever made their marriage fully functional. I'm in the camp that believes that if she's all but chasing Alex Karev, something needs to be done.

But, that's pretty much my standings, though I've probably left something out. Leave me a line on AIM or just ask here, whatever suits your fancy.

LOL, that's incredibly true. But trust me, usually Derek annoys the crap out of me, so finding one that I understood and see the depth too kind of blew me away.

Spontaneous is fun...and AU is pretty much what crack!fic is for. Hell, I'm going to wipe out the east coast of the US in a fic just to get Gibbs & Addison together!

I've never played in the grey's fandom before, but I just *got* Addison, or at least my version of her, and I feel that she can be both under and over represented. I'd like to see her interact with Izzie more (I think they'd be great together, although my Addison isn't all big about telling everyone she's bi).

I like her because she's so versatile - I usually play less major characters because I can fill in more blanks.

Anyway, I need to crash so i can be awake at work in the morning. :)
