I was just going through all of my saved writings when I found this on my desktop computer, and it gave me so much glee. Obviously it isn't finished (it didn't even make it past the dialogue stage) but I think you can follow what's going on well enough.
“James? Is that you? You’re early, I was just --”
Vlad “Hide me...”
“Jesus, I, I - what happened, how did you - “
Vlad “Please for the love of god, hide me! Hide me! Now! Please!”
“J-just let me call the police, and-“
Vlad “There’s no time! They’re right behind me, they’ll be here soon! YOU HAVE TO HIDE ME!”
“Who’s behind you?”
Vlad “They will kill me if they find me here! Please -“
SLAM
Vhe “I know ya’ in here, babe…”
Vlad “Oh god, please-“
“Quick, follow m-“
Vhe “Honey, what are you doin’ in here with this strange woman? We were having so much fun.”
Vlad “Oh god…”
Vhe “Go sit.”
Vlad “No, no, no, no, no…”
Vhe “Vlad, babe, what am I going to do with you? You keep runnin’ off like that and someone might end up seriously hurt.”
Vlad “You motherf-“
Gunshot. Screams.
Vhe “What was that, sweetheart?”
Kael “You. Look at me.”
Vhe “Look at this mess you are making, child. You are staining this nice woman’s carpet.”
Kael “Have you seen my face before?”
Vhe “What a way to thank a woman who kept you out of trouble!”
Kael “Did you see my face today?”
Vhe: “I want you to -“
Kael “Good.”
Vhe “- you will look at me when I speak to you!”
Screams.
Kael “We are watching your home and listening to every call you make, and if any word of this at all were to get to the police…”
Vhe “Ghaban. You should know better than this!”
Kael “…well, let’s just say the outcome is not one you would like. And if you think the guilt would be too much for you to bear…”
Screams.
Vhe “You spineless coward.”
Kael “…just ask yourself, ‘what is this stranger’s life worth compared to… my father’s, my mother’s… my sisters’…”
Screams.
Kael “…the life of my boyfriend?’ That should let your conscience rest.”
Vhe: “Go. Get him back.”
Kael “By the way, the best way to remove blood stains from a carpet is to use cold water thick with salt. Dab, don’t scrub. I’d get to work on that, it’s a bitch to get out once it’s dry. Good day, ma’am.”
