UFC- the ultimate fighting challenge. 2 men battle head to head in an encage OCTOGON of FURRY. they can basically do anything to distroy their oppents.
since when was boxing not enough? two men, in a SQUARE of ROPE, hitting each other above the belt with gloves on.
what is the need for all this extra violence?
lets take a look at the last great empire before the u.k., the roman empire.
as they grew in land, power, wealth, and luxuary, they needed more and more for entertainment. eat more food, drink more wine. they needed still more entertainment. what is more fun that controling the life of other people. watch them fight, decide THEIR fate. the "ultimate" power.(see next post for more about the thrill of controling another life)
how long before we justify having two inmates on death row fight to the death? Ten? Seven? Three years? why not now, i'm sure someone has already died in ultimate fighting, so why not have people that are condemded to death, fight death?
Its the same reason people watch nascar. do you really think people like watching cars go in a circle 500 times? no, they like the crash and the risk of death...hmmm, kind of like chariot races!
anyone seeing a connection here.
how much longer before the empire falls.
what if the emporer learned from mistakes of the past. what if this time it doesn't fall.
where does it go from here?
