lets talk about this weather.

how is it possible that no matter what the weather is like, extreme or not, new jerseyians and old people talk about it.

every store i went into today, i was forced into unwarrented conversations about "the scorcher of a day" it was. on top of that, they are weather experts! i was updated on the forcast for the night and weekend on multiple occasions.

"there's an other hurricane on its way, its from all dat der global warming from the war in iraq. bush has our boys fightin' for his oil" says the elderly man pumping my gas, who undoubtly had or has a bush chenny 04 sticker on the bumper of his ford pick up.

i believe our society is soo in the moment, so zen, that the weather is the only thought that passes into our enlightened minds.

but in reality it is only the disruption from the comfort and safety of our room temperature world that causes this constant banter about the weather.

there are few but intense moments during the summer that we are forced out into the blistering rays of direct light that cut through our skin, making us bleed water. even worse comes the winter air that infultrates our innerds and iceing us to the blood.

these radical environments are so disrupting to us, so unnerving, so absurd that we are forced to express our consterns and outrageness to everyone that we are forced to encounter; in hopes that if we complain enough than someone will fix these uncivilized climates.

after these breif moments of uneasiness...
like a river, the cool breeze from our 72º climate controled environments passes over us and through our minds is the constant reminder that we are under control, again.

.... then again it could be that people are just trying to be friendly and get over the uncomfortabliness that all of society has.
