I used to keep a blog back home. It was a sort of coping mechanism, because I'd just come back from Afghanistan and I needed to readjust to the world again. I stopped when I arrived here, obviously. I didn't see the point in it any more. I mean, you're supposed to use a blog to share your unique experiences with the world, but why bother if we're all going through the same thing?
Before she disappeared Jude told me that I should start up again. I'm not sure if anyone else will find this at all helpful, but maybe keeping a chronicle of what's happened since we arrived might....well, I'm not entirely what it might do. It makes me feel a little more useful anyway.
I used to say that nothing ever happens to me. Looks like I've made a great big liar out of myself.
