Everything went well. The shaft that was holding the lower shaft of his Femur and the artificial Patella were ... rusting and horribly done. It was done in a rush job, I don't know how fast they had to do it, but thankfully he came in when he did. According to the Orthopedic Surgeon, it would have collapsed within a matter of months. However, there was some trauma on his body that we were concerned about, and we've put him on steroids to boost his immunity levels and painkillers for the remainder of his stay here. The surgeon will be providing a prescription.
Since you are the family of the patient, I'm going to tell you what I'm going to tell him when he wakes up. Continue the course of the aspirin, reducing the dosage to one a day for heart health, however his blood pressure and heart beat is through the roof. However his cholesterol is fantastic, and I suggest whatever he's doing with his diet that he continue.
There will be a cast that he has to wear for six months. Don't let him walk with out it, and a special knee brace. It'll just undo everything we've done. He'll have to go to physical therapy for the knee, I'm going to let you all break that to him.
We'll be keeping him for a few days for observation and some therapy for the joint.
... I hope it helps. It was tough getting him to cooperate with the anesthesiologist, but it was important that we got the blood pressure stable enough to operate.
He should be waking up in three hours.
[ooc; HOUSE CHARACTERS, feel free to poke him when he's waking up - l-lol that's the post that I'm going to make next. House-mun, if you want to continue to run tests on him, go ahead. |D;;; He'll be here for a few days. sfdiasdasdf I hope I didn't ruin anything for anyone, if I did, go ahead and let me know.]
