Congradulations!

My sister's wedding was yesterday. She is now Mrs. Susan Lutz.  Matt is a great guy, I'm really excited and happy for them.  All week I had been watching the weather forecast, and it was supposed to be sunny and 80, just perfect.  The ceremony was being held at an Apple Orchard in Minnetrista, outside.  It rained.  It cleared up a little bit right before the ceremony started.  The minister shortened his speech a bit so that we could get back inside before it started raining again, so the ceremony was only like 5 minutes or so.  My brother and I were ushers, and I got to bring my mom down the isle.  We only brought out enough chairs for the first row also, for the parents and grandparents (and Keri and Maddox), because of the rain, so everyone else had to stand.  The ceremony was in a little clearing that was about 50 yards down a wooded path from the reception tent.  As soon as it was over and everyone started walking back to the tent, it started to pour.  I was at the end, so I got hit pretty hard.  About halfway back the line just stopped dead because of a few of the older people, but I think most of the wedding party got inside without much damage to hair/dresses.

Maddox was in a little baby tuxedo, you can check it out at his site.  Keri will probably put up more pictures tomorrow.  He got soaked too, so we took it off as soon as we got back in the tent.  He hadn't slept much and hadn't eaten much, and was starting to get super cranky, so Keri's mom and sister came out and picked him up for the night, which was awesome (thanks again!).  All in all it was a really good time.  It felt a lot like a high school reunion, with all of Matt and Susan's friends there.  Mostly people I didn't hang out with very much.

It got me thinking more about my wedding.  I don't have many friends I do stuff with anymore.  I don't know who my best man would be.  Keri's got her bridesmaids and stuff planned out pretty well I think, for the most part.  Oh well.  I guess I still have to get a ring and propose first.
