From my old computer, I'm using my Radeon 9800 pro 128, my CD/DVD drive, and both sticks of 256MB SDRAM. I think i'm getting a stick of 512 for my birthday (which is this saturday, in case you have presents you would like to give me). That'll give me a gig, but i might go buy another new stick of 512, and use one of my 256's, since my new mobo has 3 slots, which'll give me 1280. I think those are all the parts I need. I hope. I'll probably have to run out and get some cables or something tonight, maybe some adhesive too. If anyone who's built their own before has any tips, I'd appreciate them greatly.
I gotta finish some last minute school stuff that's due tomorrow before I take this computer apart, in case I can't get the new one up and running tonight. It feels so good to be almost done with this quarter. I get almost a whole month off. I want to go up north for a few days, maybe for july 4th. We need to get up there this summer before my grandparents move. Plus I still have to tell them about the baby. My mom was going to tell them this last weekend, but she chickened out! She thinks they're going to overreact or something, which I don't see why they would. My cousin Sarah is like 26 and has a 8(?) year old son, and she's been raising him pretty much all by herself, and i'm almost out of college and am going to be with Keri forever, so I don't see what the big deal would be. Blah, anyways, I have to get to work. Next post will be from my spanking new computing MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!ONE!!!!.
