Start Day 4

We start day four in Cambria, just as we left off on our last adventure. Here we woke up at Pelican Cove Inn, eating a fair amount of eggs and sausage, as well as a very nice darjeeling tea. We headed down to the beach, looking over a mass of washed up jellyfish and some very impressive driftwood, not to mention some very friendly/fat squirrels. It was also nice to finally touch the Pacific, so now I feel like I've completed my manifest destiny.

After our beach trip we traveled to the large piece of land of famed newspaper publisher William Randolph Hearst and discovered Hearst Castle. We had to take a five mile bus tour up the top of the fog covered hill. As we topped the very Rohan-esque mountainside, the Mediterranean Village that he built. There was a small courtyard, a "lake" pool, three large houses and then what seemed to be a church. These were actually three guest houses, which were massive, and then Hearst's personal home there, known as La Casa Grande.

It was pretty ridiculous, I recommend the website for more info. It's just ridiculous. http://www.hearstcastle.org/

On his grassy hillside land, he had many animals and some descendants still graze on the lands, including zebras.

After Hearst Castle, we left Cambria behind and moved on through Harmony, population 18.

18 people.

Eighteen.

People.

Uhm.... Yeah.

Then we went though San Luis Opisbo and I had Jack in the Box. I was excited, but severely let down. The service was incredibly terrible, we had two order mishaps. Also, I'm pretty sure I got my burger spit in, and the fries were terrible.

Jack In The Box You're going on the fucking list, and your name has a line through it.

However, across the street, there was a Dim Sum and Chop Suey restaurant named Mee Hung Low. That made me feel better immediately.

We traveled a long, long trip to LA and Anaheim. There were long bouts of traffic, and an impromptu rap session in Compton, but eventually we made it to our destination. We stayed at a Residence Inn... In a handicapped room. It was like taking a shower in gym class, and someone left a chair behind you.

We ate that night at a small place called Captain Kidds! It was a pirate themed buffet, that while affordable, wasn't too great. However, I still ate to my heart's content.

I discovered wi-fi at the hotel, and that's where I'll leave you. After all, tomorrow is, well... I'll let it speak for itself.

'Nuff Said.
