Sound of Thunder Pt.1 (SPOILERS)
I'm late on this one, since I got back from Hawaii just a few days ago. My vacation was fantastic, plus some plot bunnies attacked me!
Here are my thoughts for Sound of Thunder Pt. 1 (SPOILERS)
1) "Hope it's not a crab, I didn't bring butter." Oh Mac, you just made me love you even more!
2) Anomaly junction, such a cool concept! Maybe Mac will live up to his alt. self, and I hope Howard Kanan (played by the wonderful Colin Ferguson) comes back.
3) There was a comment about someone (Ken?) ending up on a dissection table. Go Dylan!
4) Mac staying with Toby, donating blood and comforting her. So sweet of him, they really care about each other. I felt so so so so sooooo sad when he watched her flat-line at the end, I cried when he started crying :'(
5) Interesting character relationships, especially the development between Toby and Ange.
6) I wonder what Ange is up to, so glad Evan is taking any crap from her.
7) That whole scene about Evan wanting to save his wife Brooke's life since she didn't die yet. Dylan said "Then we wouldn't have met.", I almost threw a fit when Evan brushed her off and said "Maybe it would be better that way." HONESTLY EVAN, CAN'T YOU SEE HOW MUCH DYLAN FREAKING CARES ABOUT YOU!!!!!
8) Continuing on the last point, Evan made up for it by choosing to save Toby instead of changing the past and saving Brooke. He saved Dylan from the scorpion thing and pulled her out of the pothole. Man they're good partners!
9) EVAN IS TRAPPED BEHIND. TOBY IS FLAT-LINING. DYLAN IS ON HER WAY TO BRING THE TAIL FOR ANTI VENOM.
10) That scene with the cave in reminds me a bit of Lost. Dylan reaaaaalllly cares about Evan, I sure hope they save him! And of course Evan cares about Dylan :)
11) Please hang on Toby!! I really hope she doesn't die....
So the last 10 minutes I was shaking and freaking out, hugging my lovely Ikea pillow tight. I started crying when Mac watched Toby flat-line, so heartbreaking. I sat there after it was done trying to calm down until I went to my room. To add to this, a plot bunny attacked me this afternoon while I was casually watching Cake Boss. I started madly writing, getting almost 400 words down on a future Primeval: New World fic. Basically Evan goes into the future, to find that people and circumstances changed.....
Anyways, I gotta shower before watching Sound of Thunder Pt. 1 again. You can bet I'll be here 2:15am on Wednesday writing my heart out about the finale.
