She'd never gotten ready so fast before. The duck into her apartment to drop off work related books and paperwork was quick. The loss of the lab coat and a sleek but simple black dress was pulled on if only to get the smell of the lab off of her.
That's how she ended up, simple but elegant entering the Thai restaurant that Nick had written down. She smiled politely at the waiter at the door, then glanced at her watch. The only thing that saved her apartment wasn't that far off the way here. Still... it seemed she was a few minutes late.
Looking about, she curled her coat over her arm looking for her companion and hoping he'd not waited too long.
