Distractions - A very well-received Austria/Prussia PWP. And this is about as plotless as I can get, methinks - something like five lines of setup and then wham-bam, thankyou m'am time for dom!Austria and spanking.
I don't like it that much, to be honest. Austria isn't refined enough - when I write his POV, I perefr to craft the language a bit finer, which written-in-a-comment-smut isn't really suited for. Ah, some day, I should try my hand at writing him in something resembling a plotty fic I think...

OMG, what is this shit? Second person POV, weird stream of consciousness stuff, Prussia is a nazi but ~for a reason~ and sometimes, I still wonder if I shouldn't delete it all.
I was in a bad place when I wrote it. In retrospect, it doesn't surprise me at all that it is the last fic posted before my Big Vacation from Fandom.

The Doc buys an apartment, rebuilds an apartment, starts school (again) to get her degree in literature, moves & deals with some personal crisises. Fanfics and Hetalia fall to the side for a bit longer than planned...

My return to the fandom: I wanted to write something, anything, I wanted it to have a higher rating and it had to be Germancest, dammit! Because there had been like practically zero porn written for the potato brothers lately, I realized when I checked out meinbruder
But I had noooo time - thus I turned to one of the good old fanfic staples: Lust potions. Oh yeah, near instant smut-scene
It's not a literary masterpiece or anything, but I do kinda like this fic. For one thing, it's one of the few times I set out to write something and managed to write exactly that without having the whole thing explode in weird philisophical powerplay ramblings or just die off. Also, while the title is pretentious as hell, I like it. Only wish I could somehow condense it a bit more
I want to write more cliché fics - maybe I should sign up for the bingo or something?
October and November were also the great months of re-posting! Once I got back into Hetalia and did some housecleaning, I realized that I had a whole bunch of fics not posted to my LJ.
I've been in fandom long enough to realize that communities go bust, archives die, service are eaten by the gulf of time and whatnot, so I always want to have things in my own place - and preferably backuped on other sites too. Thus: Operation proof & repost began

A concept I love, I fic I detest. Too fuzzy, too unclear, only about a third of the idea I wanted to write - all because I'm a shitty planner and handed it in late. Sorry, recipient, I actually thought of the prompt a lot but failed to carry it off :(

Yet another repost, written in a comment... France & Prussia being creepy and philosiphical a few years before the Great War.
I love the idea of the Bad Friends and if I thought I could pull off France's voice and Spain's characterization, I'd write fic after fic of them. But I can't ;_; Maybe I should try to fill some kink meme prompts for practice

I started posting this in October (hrm, 30:th of October, so the majority was posted in November thus it is here) but it was written in April of 2009...
Yes, well *ahem* proofing stuff is kinda boring and I felt that this was a story that deserved better than it got, considering large chunks were typed directly into comments fields at the kink meme. It also grew with something like, I dunno, 15 pages at least for this repost
Still like it - it's one of the longest three fics I've written, so that's good, I suppose? But it's definitely not without its faults. Germany especially I'm a bit meh about how I managed to bring out, but I tend to be disappointed in how he's written. That later canon pretty much confirmed that my "Prussia is sweet on Italy"-theory is 100% correct, however, made me very happy ^^

Introducing: Sailor Awesome
The last post of the year in my LJ under the "myfic" tag is utter crack. Hetalia as viewed through the filter of insomnia, Sailor Moon intros (from the German dub too) and Rammstein.
I think that, all in all, it turned out better than it deserved. Although it's one of those fics I am never going to re-read, because I typed the end with one eye on the clock because I had to go and posted it un-proofed, pretty much.... it's been fixed now, but still not beta:ed. Oh well.
12 drabbles from the anon meme
I like writing drabbles! Especially when people suggest characters I really haven't written before, but still have som headcanon for
Unfortunately, it seems as if the practice to offer drabbles have slowed down considerably on the meme, so I'm a bit hesitant to post stuff like that there these days. Wouldn't have done those either, except I didn't get that the meme wasn't just extra un-drabblish when I happened to visit
Um, then there is the Winter exchange fic I've posted in 2010 at meinbruder. Which I will proof again (though this time it was NOT posted five seconds after I'd finished it. Only a couple hours....) and repost here. So it'll have to go for 2011, I guess ^^;
