I have one, two or three bedrooms or a whole three bedroom house to rent, furnished or unfurnished, in Preston.
Three bedroom red brick 50s style house, warm in winter and cool in summer. Gas heating, hot water and kitchen (means lower bills than electric). Quiet street, close to shops, public transport, parks, creek, bike track. Polished floorboards throughout, bright and sunny. Huge back yard with established fruit trees, scope for vegetables, unused chook shed. A short trip to LaTrobe University, Preston Market, trains to the city, etc. Off street parking available.
Sharing with one male 30+, one friendly cat. I'm in the bungalow out the back, so if desired, the whole house is yours to rent, or individual rooms if you prefer. Long lease, looking for permanent people preferably, but let's talk if you want something short-term.
Rent on the whole place is ~$1560 pcm (scheduled 4% raise in November). Your share would be negotiable depending on how many rooms you want, or whether you want the whole house exclusively. For example, a straight split between two of us, sharing everything, would be $780 a month, three people ~$520. Plus bills and one month bond. Broadband internet up and running.
One large, bright master bedroom is available now, and two smaller rooms are available from the 28th of July. Ideal for a parent or couple with two kids, for example, or someone interested in a separate bedroom and office/studio.
