We are looking for housetrained prefer 25+ artists, performers, musicians, craftspeople, technicians or students to live and work in our well appointed artist run warehouse with seven others. The living arrangements are communal, but with a bedroom and separate studio there's plenty of "me" space as well.
2 private rooms and large communal work, living and play spaces set up with:
Kitchen, lounge, bathroom, laundry etc
Huge dining table - seats 20+
DJ booth
Tissue/aerial/gymnastics/dance training area
Workshop: wood/metalwork etc
Textiles: industrial sized, well lit cutting table, industrial sewing machine
Ceramics: kick wheel
Broadband internet (included in rent)
Provision for a musician to soundproof one or both of their rooms can be made.
Living arrangements:
Functional vegetarian kitchen with cooking, cleaning and shopping shared on rotation. $40 weekly kitty. Small outdoor areas inc tiny herb/veggie garden. Off street parking.
Quiet street close to all public transport. 22 minutes to Flinders St by train, Merri Creek and Upfield bike paths, Coburg Lake and park nearby. Easy striking distance to Brunswick and Coburg shops, CERES, Fitzroy/Collingwood area (bike/train/PT combos)
RENT: $360 per month, due on the 1st.
BOND: $360
BILLS: Equal split (local calls only on the phone - phew)
