(no subject)
As some of you might not have heard. I got in a car accident Wednesday. Lucky I was at work in a state vehicle and the truck was not damaged. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the Honda Civic that I hit.
This is a laydown on what happened:
I pulled up to the intersection where I continued a rolling stop at the yield. I look both ways and somehow I missed the cherry red 2004 Honda Civic. As I was pulling across the street to go into the MDOT garage, the girl I work with starting yelping. I looked both ways to try and find what she was trying to tell me, once again I failed to see the car. I finally saw the Civic when I hit it and the tail light burst into a million pieces. The adrenaline began pumping through my veins and the cuss words began spewing from the girl that just got her new car smashed up.
The cop gave me a citation, as they like to put it, for failing to yield.
