Today's been pretty productive. I ran 4 miles, worked every muscle in my body, and turned in my guarantor form to Jefferson Commons AFTER they cancelled my lease. They told me to turn it in soon-they didn't say HOW soon. I think they are going to reactivate it, though, otherwise I don't think they would have made me go through the effort of having it notarized. That was where Kelly came in. It was cool saying, "Well, my boyfriend's a lawyer. I'll just go get him to notarize it." If my mom wasn't in the damn hospital, I might have remembered it. Blount Memorial is the lousiest hospital ever. It's actually right in the same ballpark with most other Knoxville hospitals, and I should know-my mother has been to them all, and she gets terrible care. Anyway, I've not been doing much. Most of my time has been spent over at Kelly's house. I swear, I could never get tired of him, and I know this because I've seen him literally every day since the school ended.
Last night, we all went to King Tut's Grill off Chapman Highway to celebrate Mike's birthday (Cheryl's husband). It was an interesting place. It was so small and...knick-knacky. The coolest part was when we were all just sitting there and the owner comes out and says "Okay, everybody do karaoke!" and he proceeded to put on his karaoke machine and turn on the strobe lights. The food was pretty good. I'd never had Egyptian food before, so I was excited. Well, I'm off to Kelly's for the night (surprise!) Later, my darling friends.
