Back in the Hilton Head area
Kathy's mom passed about a week ago so we're back for the memorial services tomorrow. We're, thus, about 10-11 days behind schedule in getting back to Dallas.
We're so glad we had time with her before we left here a couple of weeks ago. She was completely alert and feeling pretty good up until just a couple of days prior to passing. Fortunately she was ready and, actually, anxious to go on to her next life. While we're all sad for ourselves in losing her, she lived a good and long life. She will be missed by her many friends and family. Kathy's sister was living with her for the past few months to help out. Additionally, she worked with hospice for many years, helping other people go peacefully so the workers who were around her for her last days were all good, close, friends and even coworkers.
