Anyway, work as been pretty stressful lately. Damn Eagle County, it was better when they were just obsessed with Kobe. Speaking of Kobe, is there anything more annoying than all the Hollywood stars at Lakers games? And why does the camera always go to them. Do you think that I care that Ashton Kucher is happy they pulled to a 6 point lead? Anyway, back to the task at hand.
So Eagle County’s Head of IT decides to rip me a new asshole because I didn’t convince the airport to pay for an upgrade of our software when we transferred it to the Windows 2003 box. Guess what, I have zero contact with purchasing customers. I have know influence on them paying for an upgrade. I just do what I’m told. It would’ve been nice to know they weren’t going to be putting the workstation on the domain when I first asked until having to pry that fact out of them two weeks later. I could’ve used that time to figure out another way to run reports. Of course once they do it still doesn’t work because Crystal is so idiotic that if I create a report and the computer I’m creating it on doesn’t have a printer, it refuses to allow printing ever. How dumb is that? I’m probably the only one who understands what I’m talking about right now anyway. But it is frustrating.
Friday was a date with Laura. We went to eat at the Italian Pie Shop, then she came her to and we watched Time Bandits. Saturday played Axis and Allies. I got there late though and somehow Austin and Mike ended up on the same team. That was dumb of whoever decided that. So we got spanked. Not surprising. After that I came home and Laura came over. I don’t even know what we did then. I think we watched San Diego lose to the Jets. It’s a shame.
Sunday I had to go to my sister’s going away dinner at the Olive Garden. She changed to that from Red Lobster mostly because of me, I think. How nice. I would’ve went to Red Lobster though, but may have griped slightly about it. After that I had to go on a double date with Austin and Kristy, Laura and I. We saw Closer. It was an interesting movie. The whole Internet chat thing made me chuckle. Ah the memories. Of course meanwhile I’m missing the Vikings kick Green Bay’s ass and Randy Moss fake moon or defecate or whatever it was. Oh well, the sacrifices I make for the ladies. I did see the last 6 minutes at Doolittles, where we ate.
Monday I lost a $1. Tuesday was nothing. Wednesday Laura came over. We ate at Sydney’s and played Scrabble. She spelled abrasions and used all her letters. I was pissed. Heh. Anyway, that’s about all. I didn’t do anything tonight but rot my brain with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
