I'm tired...really tired. I suppose I should get more sleep. But I've been watching Witch Hunter Robin on Cartoon Network, it's kind of weird, and tries a little too hard to be eerie, but I guess it's cool. I'm got really pissed today. I so needed to vent but had no one to vent too. And it's not like everybody hasn't heard me bitch about politics before, but an amendment? A fucking amendment? Bush wants an amendment to ban gay marriages. We haven't had an amendment in like 30 years, and he wants to use one for this? If there is going to be an amendment, it should be an anti-gun amendment, not a freakin' anti-gay one. I mean, what are people scared of? I don't get it. Nobody has ever, EVER given me a real argument against legally banning gay marriage. Politicians always talk about how they're against gay marriages, yet they NEVER give a reason beyond some vague statement about 'sanctity' and 'enduring union'. Whenever Bush talks about his dislike for gay marriages, the word 'God' comes up, yeah, that's separation of church and state. It's bullshit, that's what it is. Before I was an environmentalist, before I was vegetarian, I was quoted as saying, 'If I was anymore pro-gay, I'd be gay myself,' The reason my stance on homosexuals came so early is because it was so damn obvious. It's just common sense. Being gay is a personal choice that a person makes that has no effect on other people. It's a no-brainer, what two consenting adults do on their own time is nobody's business but their own. And if two people of the same sex want to be legally 'together' under the nations eye, and have all the laws that apply to a lawful union, what's the big deal? What is everyone afraid of? God damnit...

Anyway, Wednesday and Thursday I didn't do a whole lot. Just enjoyed my day's alone, as much as possible. Too bad I had to work, or else it would've been really nice. Friday I went over to Brian's, and we played cards. Brian loves playing cards; I'm never as excited about it, mostly because I play it every Sunday anyway. Saturday I went to Brian's again. We watched a documentary called 'Okie Noodling'. It's about people who hunt 50+ pound catfish using their arms. Brian has some odd taste. I think some of it comes from his quest to find the oddest, underground thing, to be 'alternative hip', or something. I dunno, maybe I'm just bitter. I got an invitation to their wedding, -sigh-, weddings. How...argh...

Sunday, barely got around to showering. Heh, but I did go to Austin's and we played poker. I won. Fun times. Yesterday I went comic shopping with Austin, then to Doolittle's, for my first time. I prefer my tortellini in marinara, not alfredo. Then we saw Eurotrip. Eh, it was about what I expected, maybe a little funnier. It was like Road Trip or Old School, although more boobs, which is a-ok with me. I suppose I wouldn't recommend it though. So, yeah.

Thought of the Day: So Cheney came to Minnesota yesterday, and said they were going to take this state. I wouldn't be surprised, but it would be heartbreaking. Minnesota DOESN'T vote Republican, it just doesn't. But with the way the Senate election went, and I've been hearing a lot of Bush support lately from the locals, I could see Bush winning. Especially since I can't, in good conscience, not vote for Nader.

Quote of the Day: "This is Europe. They have lesbians with dildos in Orange Juice commercials, you gotta give them something they haven't seen," - Eurotrip
