We lost one of us....Goodbye, Mari!!
I am a late Kpop fan, i'm just a kdrama addict before. I did not know anything about singers/ groups in Korea. I only knew some if ever i watch a drama and have some singer being casted, cause i usually check the characters in the drama.
Last year i bumped into this We got Married episodes in youtube. I loved the Sangchu couple and try to know everything about them. As i always check Hwangbo's vids, i always see a constant name, Junjin. I got curious who this person is, as what they say as one of her best buddy. I never realized that it would be start of me being a Shinhwa fan.
That's when i start searching and watching anything about Shinhwa. I find this guys amusing to have such dorky attitudes, eventhough they are like in their late twenties.
After looking forums after forums related to them, i was able to meet this person. Mari, marimer as what her usual username is. She welcomed me to be part of the Philippine fanbase of Shinhwa. I was really happy that time coz i was able to meet someone with the same interest from the same country. She was a very accomodating and had a very warmth personality, i felt that even when we are just talking online most of the time. Since i was working overseas, we only had chances of talking on cyberspace. But i can feel the sincerity and acceptance of being a friend. She taught me that there's more beyond fangirling, there's friendship. We can share anything about life, love and motherhood,as we both have a seven year old son.
Yesterday, October 3, Shinphil family was in mourning. As our beloved Mari, passed away due to heart attack. It was a too sudden that it did not give us enough time to recover. She was scheduled to give birth to her baby next week. She and her baby did not make it. I was too shocked after hearing the news that i don't even know how to react. It's very painful for us. Eventhough i did not know her for a long time, i know she's a friend, a great one to be exact.
Now that she and her baby is in our Creator's loving arms, they will be in peace. But sorely she will be missed.
MARI, rest in peace, my friend. I'll miss you! Goodbye!
