Fuck, not fun.
Todays skirmish went ok, in the end my army lost but it was enjoyable. Now thing is, had a major incident on the way to a pub. Our usual pub we go to after a game is closed for renovations so we was going to the Holy Bush only a few minutes way, just at the turn off for the M6 toll, past the quarry on the A38 heading to Darby there was an accident. We was traveling in a 7 car convoy, and even now i dunno what happened exactly. But from what i know, Bex lost contorl of her car, smacked into Ash, who smacked into another car.
Every one is ok, Ash was shooken up, he ended up on the other side of the roadway, drives door smashed in, front left wheel well wrecked. The other car got a dented doorfrom what i saw and was drivable. but Bex's car was wrecked, the front right wheel well are is destroyed, radiator punctured, wheel ripped from the hub.
Myself and Budger were in Ben's car at the rear of this convoy and we saw the dust cloud and knew somehting was wrong, soon as we had stoppe di was out and running down the road, seeing Ash's car further down i went to see him. He was ok, i am still hoping he is ok really. A squaddie, a medic specifily, stopped and asked if everyone was ok, seeing if there was anything he could do etc but everyone was ok. Bex won't be driving i cna tell, you can't just get back into the drivers seat after somethign liek that, and not how she was reacting. She wa sin shock, sobbing with fear she had injured or killed someone.
I just sit here now and now it is hitting me, then iw as running on auto, doing what i remembered form when i was a cadet and such. Now, i think about how close it could have been for someone to have been seriously injured or worse. I hope that everyone si fine, we all sorted rides out in concern to vehicles involved and so on. It's just....damn.
