You see, I needed to pick up a loaf of bread. With my allergies, this usually means going to the deli - and after I did so, I remembered that I'd forgot to pick up juice from the supermarket first.
With the general mental idea that going into the supermarket with a loaf of bread may cause problems going out (it was a variety they didn't stock and I had a receipt, but potentially having to point this out seemed more effort than it was worth), I figured I'd go into the fruit shop instead.
Big mistake.
As it turned out, they didn't have the variety of juice I prefer - but that wasn't the mistake, what they had was acceptable. The problem is that it turned out that they stocked dill pickles.
Real dill pickles.
Kilogram-weight jars of succulent, juicy, pickle-y goodness.
