Yep, Murphy strikes again. I had an uneventful flight, aside from the fact i got through security in under 20 min, despite being the recommended 3 hours early. Flight was delayed half an hour, so i had a 3 hour wait. Got in, got home, changed for my interview. After filling out the required paper application, the recruiter pulls me aside and tells me I cant work there. WTF? I uproot my whole fuckin life on the promise that I have a job here at comcast, and they pull this shit? Turns out they just enacted a rule that no family members can work in the same building, even distant cousins. Becauseme and Shawn are related, i cant geta job there. I am so damn pissed, and I;m screwed if Idont find something else soon. All the careful planning wasted because I didnt lie all over my fuckin application. Why the fuck do i keep getting punished for being honest? Not that lying woulda helped. I was told that even if i hadnt put it on the application, if they found out, I woulda been fired. Whata buncha bullshit.
