Well, I managed to pull off straight A's for my first two semesters. Hopefully it won't all go out the window this summer when I take two online classes...I do NOT want to take online classes, but it's the only way to keep going and get a degree before I crap out from old age. I was pretty worried about my Criminal Law grade, but it's nice to know that a hardcore defense attorney (my instructor) found my term paper and essay tests to be A-worthy!!
On another note, I'm learning Spanish this month for work, and I'm learning some Icelandic to prepare me for my trip in December. I only hope that I'm saying the words properly!! I'm hoping to learn a bunch of horrible words so that I can come back here and talk shit without anyone knowing what I'm saying ;)
Oh, one last thing. So, I've got this friend who says she bought me a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure for my birthday. She comes to my party and says she forgot the gift at her house, but she told me all about it and how cool it will be when I get it. We talk on the phone a few weeks later and she tells me she can't find my present. Then, I go to her house for a bbq that weekend and she tells me that she must have thrown it away. Now, I don't care if people buy me stuff or not. But, something about this whole situation leaves quite a bad taste in my mouth. Is she full of it? Did she use it herself? Did she never get anything? I'm confused, but I can tell you one thing...I can't stand bullshitters. Ugh!!!!
