Content notes: For the Merlin Zodiac Project. A short explanation of the assigned astrological sign and slight anatomy fail behind the cut.
Although it lists the eagle as an archetype and is also said to symbolise the serpent in the book of Genesis, I chose to stick to the most evident representation of this astrological sign in this piece--the scorpion. Scorpio is characterised as being cool and secretive but ambitious and passionate. Its ruling planets are Pluto and Mars, which are the gods of the Underworld and War in Roman mythology respectively, and is strongly associated with the colour dark red as seen in the whole theme of this piece. The Scorpio personality also includes strong maternal instincts and a tendency to stand alone, though they may need nurturing just as much. Scorpio also possesses a very sensual, seductive nature.
