sure! Once I had Buffy all cut out from the background and had the shape I wanted (what you see of the cut-out buffy above is what I finalized on), then I duplicated the layer. With the new layer, I used the light/shadow/contrast tools to make it a solid black silhouette. Depending on which photo software you have, this will be different. For me, I use Photoshop Elements8, and its Enhance > Adjust Colour > Adjust Hue/Saturation and I drag the 'lightness' tab all the way down to -100. Then you have a solid black shape of the original
