Hey Everyone!
Now, I'm quite upfront about the fact that when it comes to my writing, I have a very visual style that's influenced by the movies I happen to spend a lot of time watching. There's one director in the world that I love more than anyone else, and he's got a new movie out!
Yup - those of you who read my "real" journal will know that Gus Van Sant's Paranoid Park came out today, and of course I traipsed along to see it. If you're sick of over blown blockbusters and stupid sci-fi/fantasy little-girl-with-an-over-the-top-pocket-watch movies, then you should go see Paranoid Park. Gus Van Sant captures isolation like no one else, and it's just a beautiul, amazing and thoughtful movie. SO! I repeat:
It's called Paranoid Park, by Gus Van Sant, and it's showing at a cinema near you :)
