Remember the night blooming lilies
I would hold there in my hand?
Remember the balance of force and grace
In our heart wounds touched with sand?
Remember that red-lip blushing moon
We both stared at transfixed?
Remember a stupid, dark-eyed boy
And Benedict's Crucifix?
Remember the looks, the scowls, the grins
Love and hate walking the fence?
Remember the hill under the trees
And losing my innocence?
And remember the path, the lake, the field
The stars-eyes by the millions?
Remember the wind, the smell of hope...remember the pavilions :)?
In spite of pain and hurt and tears
Confusion, compassion and love,
I remember your eyes, that cheap disguise,
I remember Draven and the Dove...
