lets see.
1-i just tried to install world of warcraft, and after an hour, disc 4 finished its install, and i was told there was an error in the install. so of course, nothing was installed. so i have to try again tomorrow. DUMB
2 -i went to theatre tonight with my roomate and his grandma, who is suprisingly cool! it was my first time seeing live theatre and it was SOOOOOO fun! i wanna go again! in july i am definitely going because theyre doing One Flew Over The Cukoos Nest. i am so excited! it was awesome.
3 -God brought a kid named James Eason into mine and my parents lives this weekend. he showed up at the house on friday when my dad and i were taking the roof off the house looking for work. well my dad agreed to give him some work to do and pay him hourly. he worled here half a day on friday and a full day on sat and today. well it turns out that he has a really sad story. he comes from a totally broken home back in north carolina, and he was forced to start working at like 12. he came out here with a guy who promised a job and place to stay, which of course, was a lie. so when james got out here, he had nothing and knew no one. so he was on the street. long story short, he met up with a mexican guy who gave him a place to stay until he can find his own place, and he met up with us looking for work because he needed cash. i guess he used to go to church, and after working around here for the weekend, he seems very interested in going back. praise God for that. but yeah, i guess hes going with me to the christmas program at my church. God works in mysterious ways, and puts some different people in our lives. we should thank him and always be looking for oportunities to serve and whitness by our love...this whole thing with James has re-affirmed the fact that a little love and kindness can really make a difference in a life. amazing. pray for him. God is great
4 -i havent seen grace in forever. i miss her SO much. she one of the greatest things to ever happen to me. hehe perhaps, God willing, there is a future for us, and perhaps not. God knows what hes doing, and he'll do it in his time. i just have to wait on him and trust him. its worked out nicely so far...not quickly, but probably better than it would have otherwise
5 -i picked up a devotional book by John Piper. its got some great devotionals. ive realized i get so caught up with deep intelectually challenging biblical truths, which arent bad, but i get wraped up in them and miss the basic truths of God and his glorious gospel. so hopefully this book is a kick back to more applicational truths!
6 -ITS ALMOST CHRISTMAS WHICH MEANS IM GOING TO COLORADO FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!! CHRISTMAS IN THE SNOW!!! YAY!!!!!
