Alright here's the deal. Krista's supposed to call me in a bit, because she's trying to get rid of a headache. Im tired as hell, but i want to wait up for her. So this is what Im going to do to keep myself awake. You have been properly warned. Also, I don't know how to LJ cut, so if someone would let me in on that little secrect, Ill edit this and make it shorter if neccessary.
I would also like to apologize for the typos and bad grammar to follow, if it's no obvious, Im pretty out of it.
Let's start with the big things. Jon and I talked finances (thank God I didnt just type fiances, I was close) for awhile last night, and it looks like Im set, the only thing left to do is make it happen. Which requires way more income, i.e. at least 1 more job, if not 2. Once New Years rolls around, i hope to be drinking in California with Krista and her friends.
Danny didn't make it down (yet), he had car problems. Maybe he'll come down a bit later, but we'll have to see. I hope so, I enjoy hanging out with Danny, he's a cool dude.
It was raining like a motherfucker on my way home from Matt's tonight (more on the amazing Smash night in a bit). I almost flooded my car pretty bad near the Loop and University, but I made it home alright. Obviously lol. The weather is beautiful though, I wish it would do this 24/7.
Im thinking of cutting my hair off, or at least most of it. Id like some feedback (if you have seen me recently preferably) on what you think. Ill do what I feel like doing, but Id like to hear what some of you think.
This is pretty random so far, I cant wait to see where it goes from here.
Random video game things. IIDX is going well. Im scoring better (comparatively) than I have on any other music game. I just have to start understanding how to do some of the harder stuff and Ill be doing great. (Just great ROFL). Played Chaos Field for the GCN. Pretty weak shooter that tried too hard to be Ikaruga, but more colorful. It ends up being just as difficult, and half the fun. Disgea 2 is out today? Tomorrow? Something like that, Ill be playing the fuck out of that bitch. The only other game Ive been playing consistantly is Smash, and I can tell Im improving. Tonight at Matt's, i completely dominated Matt, Carlos, Jordan and Brandon. Only 2 of those people actually play this game on a consistant basis, but I was either having an amazing night, or Im starting to really get the hang of the system. Im playing more characters well, and more characters more often. Its a lot more fun that way.
Enough on the video games, here's something I havent ever really talked about here, my music. My library of what Ive actually composed and put to use is ridiculously small (read: <10 songs) but Ive been needing to work on a lot of them. I also need some programs, as for some reason, Reason (lol) is acting up on me, to the point of not being able to use it. Someone want to recommend anything (free/piratable please, it's not like Im making this music to market it) please do it. I could use some new software. I also could use a keyboard, but that will be Christmas before I have one of those. One more thing I have to move =/ It'll be worth it though.
Music Im listening to: Pretty fucking weird right now. The new Buckcherry CD is pretty fucking good. One the other end of the universe, I really like the Cartel single, but I need to listen to the whole album before I pass judgement. Also, Venetian Snare's CD in Hungarian that Im not even going to worry about trying to spell. Amazing. Jon, remind me to burn that for you, you'll love it. Also, a bit Tchkovsky (I know I fucked that, is it close?) and a lot of Aphex Twin. Some Sana, and a little Black Dahlia Murder. Its pretty cool actually, flipping through songs on a CD Im blasting out of my car, and seeing the look on people's face as it goes from the 1812 Overture, to Thy Horrow Cosmic, to Jelly Kiss. It's lol.
Im running out of shit to talk about, and Krista hasnt called yet. I guess Ill shut up and try and find something else to keep me up. LOL pr0n ahoy! Not really. Too tired. Which is sad, but meh. You know.
Oh yeah, people who just drop off the face of the Earth because they got a new significant other are cool. Cool enough to do stand-up comedy with Joe Rogan. And I mean that. They deserve every bit of that.
