God, that trip was a lot of fun. Meeting all the cool ABQ people, getting to know Jon and Nielle better, I couldn't ask for a whole lot more.
Ill try and make a bigger post about it tomorrow when Im not as worn out from the trip, but for now, suffice to say it was a worthwhile weekend.
The only thing I will talk about a bit, since I know a few people were interested in my experience with the new DDR Supernova cabinent. It wasn't a bad game, but I felt it lacked. A lot. I ran out of songs I was interested in playing in the 4 hours we stayed at the arcade. The syncing ranged from DDR's idea of dead on (early to me, but not by much) to, HOLY FUCKING SHIT MURMUR TWINS. Murmur Twins was only like a beat and a half off. It was pretty lol. The background videos didnt interfere with the arrows at all. Kind of like how they don't do it in Rhythm and Police. And by that, I meant a lot.
Overall, a very bland game. Pump Zero killed it, but I played more Supernova, mainly because I hadnt before.
Oh, and Time Crisis 4 is fucking terrible. That was a stupid game, and it wasn't fun at all.
I make it sound like all we did was arcade lol. I promise Ill post about the people and what we did tomorrow, I just need some sleep for now.
And in 2 days, Krista gets here ^_^
