On recent things

So I got to dodge the Jury Duty bullet this time. The first day wasn't so bad. Went in around lunch time, had orientation, then they let us our for an early lunch. Went across the street to a little luncheonette on the corner of Bridge Street and Main.

I went there once when I was younger with my father. Funny thing, I remember the place being a lot bigger. Ordered a breakfast, which was damn tasty. Headed back to the assembly room and waited. While waiting I passed out(only 2 hours of sleep will do that to you).

The cool thing is that I won't be called up for Jury Duty for another 3 years. A shame really, cause I actually wanted to go through with it. I think it would be kind of neat just to do once. Who knows, maybe in 3 years, I'll get another shot.

Aside from that, I have an upcoming Doctor's visit. I have to have minor surgery on my foot. This really isn't a good year for me medical wise. Thankfully, this will be an out patient procedure. So I'll be laid up most of Memorial Day weekend.

If I can, I might go to the beach, get away for a bit. If not, I'd really like to check out the bike races. It's been a while since I've actually gone to see them.

Wrestling: We just did the Manville show, and it was fun. My only concern now is that there aren't going to be many shows during the summer. I need to get into better shape. Once shows start up again on a regular basis, I want to be ready to do what I want to do. I need to get better, I need to get healthy again and get out and move!

Who wants to play some frisbee?
