Annnd RECAP!
Well its been a long ass couple of weeks.
To Start ... Rehearsal Dinner at parents house went really well ... lots of food lots of good company, family and friends included ... and Ilzarion of course brings the rain.
Wedding Day, Nervous as a shit all morning, Trying to kick Stick into high gear at my Parents house, Screwdriver and Panettone calm the nerves a piece. Get into tuxedo, Travis Arrives and Stick is mostly ready. Pack Mothers car with Honeymoon luggage. Check, Recheck, Triple Check.
Arrive 1.5 hours before ceremony begins to take Wedding photos. Hot as balls taking pictures outside. Was about 85 outside but it felt like 90+ in the monkey suit. Pictures Done. Went up to bridal suite to have a drink and cool off (Viva la Air Conditioning)
People start shuffling in for the Ceremony. I say hi to everyone.
I get shuffled to the front in the outside ceremony. again it feels like 90+ but 3 layers of clothing does this. Shelley comes down the Aisle. I am caught speechless a second time. (First time was when we first saw eachother at the beginning of pictures). For those of you that know me, know that I really never have a lack of anything to say.
Ceremony proceeds well, get a few Awww's from the crowd over our Vows as we wrote them ourselves. And we are married...but wait the Reverend forgets about the rings...I call a do-over. Put the rings on, and repeat, Married Twice!!! on the same day to the same person!
Oh and ceremony over so quickly, the DJ didnt realize so i was waiting for him to que the recessional music. Starts after a minute. Walk back into the cool. Drink a bit more in the Bridal Suite and have some snacks.
Rest of the wedding reception was pretty standard. Dancing, Booze, Food, Chatting, more random pictures, Rinse Repeat.
Everyone appeared to have a good time.
