Doing something that scares you, stretching myself
exploring alternative career paths
nurturing the developer/teacher in me
yes, the above is all valid, but the concise answer is that I find it meaningful. Meaningful because I can contribute in my own unique way as a bridge between the super-experienced faculty and the not-so-experienced students. A book I read recently "
The Courage To Be Disliked" defined happiness as the feeling of contribution. And me being here, for this 5 days, is my own way of contributing back to programmes that have given me so much.
