Well, I think you already have it mapped out pretty well. There are twice as many cons as pros.

Sure, you could go and do the audition, but again, the cons seem to way outpace the pros.

But as in all of life, you gotta do what you gotta do. :)

This is how I view it. If you go, there is no guarantee you will be cast. Figure things out once you know if you are cast or not.

If you don't go, you'll kick yourself for not taking a chance.

Try and then make a choice. You won't even know if you have one unless you make it. Or did you make it already? If so, congrats and follow your dream. Opportunities should be snatched and people who love you will work with you and understand.
