It seems that I've had photos on the camera since February, and not dealt with any of them.
Last night and
today I've uploaded the photographs I've taken in Broadstairs and environments, mostly of The Old Lookout Gallery, yesterday. I took a few more of steps as practice shots, and I'll not share those at the moment.
I think these two are my own favourites - plays between depth and planes, here distorted and reflected through the angled glass of a display case:
At the moment I've been thinking about the abstract works of Ben Nicholson, which is why these two are chiming for me, where he tessellates coloured shapes. This is too polygonal for that, plus the wriggle of glass distortion, but that's a difference between representation and creation rather than aesthetics.
