On being poked, Pouches of Vital Importance have produced the sales figures for 2007, a mere 10 months and 15 days into the next sales period, and probably six months later than they promised in their contracts.

Shame they haven't told me about all of the books by me they publish, and including the one I suspect sold the most in the period.

Yes, that's quadrupled the amount.

But what would "Sales Retention for the Period" mean and why has it cost me £80? It's not as if I was paid an advance.

Indeed it is, but it has not been apparent in previous statements as far as I recall. I'm assuming I will be paid part of this back when they send me the next statements in early January.
