If someone buys a boxset of DVDs, it's generally considered good form to give them the box. Otherwise they have merely bought a set. The box is designed to keep the DVDs together in a rather more pleasing manner than the elastic band they had in the drawer.

When you tell me to come back in ten minutes I would appreciate that the pills are ready then, and I don't have to wait around another ten minutes for the pharmacist to approve it. I'm very glad you didn't ask me if I've taken the pills before, as it was clearly a repeat prescription.

Much as I appreciate you grabbing my vouchers back to get me another 75 points, I'm not entirely sure that you gave me the change from the ten pound note. But as another token had given me money off I'll call it quits this time.
