Crossposted from Reddit - lost fic with a mental bond
Hi all! This is a Reddit crosspost since their comm doesn't seem to have had any luck finding or recognizing this. I seem to have mislaid a Drarry fic that I read a while back and really enjoyed. I THINK it was on AO3 but am not 100% sure. Honestly can't remember the length of the story but I believe it was complete. Pretty sure it featured Harry working as an Auror and that Draco was in the Ministry as well, though he may have been an Unspeakable.
They had undergone some kind of spell to link themselves (it was work-related and done deliberately, and may have been an experimental piece of magic) and at one point Draco uses it to correctly locate Harry when he has been badly hurt in a fight with some Dark wizards - I know that at some point in the fight Harry had used magic to make duplicates of himself and confuse his opponents, and I think the spell let Draco find the "real" Harry. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks for any help you can offer!
